Experience Summary
My experience tutoring started with young age non english speaking children and continued to escalate during college. I have an Associates degree as a Community Spanish Interpreter. I like to have people learn the basic vocabulary and then have my students learn how to pronounce and recognize the sound of the words when spoken. I also like to combine what I call
community survival Spanish skills in every lesson that enables my students to communicate in a very short period of time. I am very versatile and can gear lessons toward certain fields of occupation....Medical, Dental, Law etc....
Teaching Style
Because I have tutored adults and children as young as four an all ages in between, I have a very accomodating way of teaching. It is very important to be able to adapt my style of teaching to my students particular needs. I am flexible an understand that every student has a particular level of comprehension and learning style. I am patient friendly considerate and entertaining which helps to make me a very successful tutor. I feel chatting online, texting and other everyday activities enhance your learning ability. I will travel to your work, school, library or I also provide in my home/office tutoring.
