Experience Summary
I have taught English and Composition for over twenty years at the junior high, high school, and college level. In addition, I have worked in publications and taught desktop publishing and writing at the high school and college level, and have worked directly as a managing editor for college publications.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is relaxed, yet rigorous. I expect students to work hard and achieve their goals. I utilize a variety of teaching styles in order to fit individual student learning styles, and I design lessons with creativity and a focus on real life applications.
My Hobbies
I am an avid runner, cyclist, nordic skier, hiker, and canoeist. I enjoy yoga, traveling, reading, writing, knitting, and being with my friends and family.

It is my belief that all students can learn, but not all students learn at the same pace, or in the same manner.
