Experience Summary
I graduated from Mercy Adacemy with a 3.9 GPA. I earned 6 college credits while in high school and took five AP classes (US History, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics). I recieve my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering this semester (May 2013) and will pusruse a Master's in mechanical engineering. I currently have a 3.6 GPA at Univeristy of Louisville. I have a year of work experience in Research & Development. I worked for two semesters in medical device design at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, and I worked one semester in lead-acid battery separator industry at Daramic, LLC.
Teaching Style
I am very interactive and ethusiastic! When teaching any age, I like to help them see the big picture and give them applications of the subject they are learning. I am very patient, and I understand various ways of learning (through visual, text, examples, word of mouth, etc).
My Hobbies
I enjoy learning about medical related topics, nuclear chemistry, and bioengineering related subjects. I value fitness and nutrtion. I also perform Tahitian and hula dance with a studio group in Cincinnati and Louisville. I played basketball in high school and play when I have the time.
I also have a little sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana Program. I really love making a difference in people's lives and passing on wisdom I gain over the years.
Other Comments
Throughout my undergraduate career, I was always the student to spend the time figuring out the homework, examples, and subject material, and then would explain and clarify for other students in my classes.
I assist my older brother with his MBA math problems (calculus, algebra, etc).
