Experience Summary
As a graphic designer I have done free-lancing with Orbit Media, Flint, Michigan. I have designed a CD cover for a childrens video for this media company. I have work with them in opening web pages in racing cars snf boats. I enjoyed doing an internship in Chicago with Tip-Top Branding working with clients. I was second in charge with the product Fansee Shades in designs. I have designed Logos for various in the field of video and photography, and cleaning companies. The education that I received from EMU give me hours of working in a group or as an individual designer. I also have taken on photography combining it with my graphic design knowledge to create my digital collages which you can find on my sites. I would like to very much expand my experience working with students in photoshop, illustrator and other similar programs. I have not ever taken on teaching, but I feel being 25 years old, students could relate to me sooner than someone much older. At the present time I am looking for another position in art and graphic design. I have my artwork at Sister Art and Gift Store at Westland Mall, which has open myself to the retail business, which I find enjoyable trying to reach out to the public and what their idea of art is. With doing free-lancing, I work at the South Lyon School system as a custodian, which has taught me the true meaning of hard work but I am not ashamed to say somewhat rewarding. As I do not what this to be my life-long job it works while I apply to other graphic design positions for that perfect fit for me. I would like to meet with you to discuss any possible areas that I could be an asset to the South Lyon Schools or any other district.
Teaching Style
I do not have any teaching style, I beleive it is different for every individual. As an dyslexic artist there is no standard of teaching. Each student learn in what ever methods works for them.
My Hobbies
My hobby which I combine with my art is photography. I spend many hours in Kensington Park photographing plants, animals, sunsets, you name it, I take pictures of. You will find most of these on my websites. I find pleasure, relaxation and it being profitable for the sale of my artwork.
Other Comments
I attended South Lyon Schools all the way through high school. I still live in the area. I have made a couple of music collages and plan to visit the high school again for more photos of instruments for future artwork.
