Experience Summary
Recently, I have taken a college algebra class and a business calculus class, both of which I maintained an A in. I have a little tutoring experience from junior high. One of my instructors requested that I help some of the other students in my math class. I also have been tutoring my family in some of their college math classes. I was recently suggested by my college algebra professor for a tutoring position at the college, but had to turn it down because I was relocating. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to prove how good of a tutor I can be.
Teaching Style
I tutor mostly in math, but am also available for a few other subjects as well. I like to tutor one on one with the student. It seems to make them more comfortable when asking questions. Also, it gives me a chance to deal specifically with the problems they are experiencing in the subject.
Other Comments
Previously, the duration of my time in high school was spent studying. I maintained a GPA of 3.94-4.0 throughout the four years I attended, and graduated eleventh in my class of 530. At this time, I have continued to maintain that GPA even in the college classes I am now registered in. My main focus was in the math classes I took, including algebra, some trigonometry, and calculus. I have always been best at this logical thinking and calculations even through my college math classes.
