Experience Summary
I have five plus years experience in tutoring students of all ages in all areas of math. I have tutored in math ranging from pre-algebra to calculus, and I also have experience in working with students with learning disabilities. I enjoy a challenge, and I enjoy helping students to see math in a different light. It does not have to be hard when you can make it fun. Almost all of my students have successfully brought their grades up from D's and F's to A's and B's.
Teaching Style
I don't have one specific teaching style... I believe the style should be developed based on observing how the student learns best. One style would not be successful with all students. I like to spend a couple of weeks trying out methods and seeing which ones work best, then develop a method that specially fits your students learning ability.
