Experience Summary
I recently graduated from a private college in Illinois. I was attending in hopes of receiving my Bachelors in Secondary English Education. Due to life events I had to graduate early without the full completion of this degree. I have been helping in 6-12 English, theater, Language Arts, and Reading classes for 4 years and I plan on starting my Master's Degree in School Counseling next fall.
Teaching Style
I have a very hands-on teaching approach. In order for a child to truly grasp a concept or show their understanding, they must demonstrate the skill. It would be a disservice to them if it was a "listen only" style.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading, participating in theater events and choral events, and spending time with friends and family.
