Teaching Style
My teaching motto is: “There are no bad students, there are only bad teachers.” Many teachers make the mistake of thinking that not all children have the ability to study a foreign language. That’s not really true. I firmly believe that every child can be taught if the teacher is professional and creative in finding ways to encourage him/ her to learn. During my18 plus years experience in teaching I worked out the main rules that I follow when planning and conducting my lessons:
-Be informed, eager and enthusiastic with the subject.
-Organize and plan lessons well in advance.
-Make sure that every student understands in advance what is going to be taught before starting each topic.
-Keep students actively engaged with all parts of the lesson.
-Address each student by name and use praise often.
-Have high expectations and show students that you expect their best.
