Christian Cottage Prep has been tutoring and running a day school since 2001. We offer a host of differnt levels of educational classes to help you be the best that you can be!
Day School - CCP is a unique educational experience in Fort Worth. There are multi age and grade groups in combined classes to achieve higher learning toward grade level and beyond. Classes are small for core subjects to maximize learning. The maximum is six students per room inorder to give individual attention to each student. We are designed to raise standard test scores through a host of avenues.
Students are in grades 6th-8th. CCP students have prepared themselves for high school at:Pantego Christian Academy, Nolan Catholic High School, Grace Prep, CLPS, Southwest Christian, Fellowship Academy, Bethesda, Temple Christian and more.
Group Tutoring - CCP offers small group classes on Sunday afternoon for 5th-9th grade students. Classes include:
upper elementary math
pre algebra
Algebra 1
grammar
vocabulary
Writing Workshops - These classes are offered through the year as 1to 3 day workshops.
SAT essay for grade 9th-12th
Middle School Madness for grades 5th-8th
Bridges for grades 7th-10th
????Private Tutoring -Private tutorials are offered after school and weekends. Tutors are available during day hours for home education students and college students. These appointments are set in advance. Your tutor will be a liaison between the school, parents, and student. Offering tutoring for Kindergarten-adult.
Summer camp - Summer academic camps for math, grammar, vocabulary, literature, and study skills.
Teaching Style
We pre-test each student to see where they are which enables us to quickly help them fill holes and gaps in thier education. We know that each student learns differently and has different needs.
