Experience Summary
A lifelong lover of reading, writing, and language in general, I supported myself through college by tutoring other students in Spanish and helping them edit/write their papers. Since then, I have tutored students between grades 6 and 12 in English related subjects, including spelling, vocabulary, and general writing. The past four months, I lived in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, where I spent two days a week tutoring local students in English as a second language, in addition to generally improving my Spanish skills.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is extremely fluid. I've found that adapting classes to the unique needs and interests of each individual student is the best way to making a lasting impact on their educational growth.
My Hobbies
Snowboarding, surfing, skating, soccer, and, most importantly, creative writing.
