Experience Summary

20 years of high school and college teaching experience in creative writing. I have worked with writers as both the director of college writing programs, judging national writing competitions and teaching creative writing. I am also experienced in teaching poetry and the writing of it, which can be a difficult task for many college and high school students. I am patient, kind and highly efficient.

I am a published writer with a PhD in Writing as well as a high school certification to teach. I work with many poets and writers in high school and college creative writing programs. I have published poetry, short stories and academic articles to name a few. I am excellent at bringing out the best in your writing.
