Experience Summary

I am an experienced special education teacher with twenty-one years of teaching experience. I have many years of experience tutoring students on a After-School Reading Program and Homework Tutoring Program in grades K-4. I am caring, patient, and understanding when working with students in need of extra-support or who have special needs, so students succeed at learning. I know many alternative teaching strategies to address each student's learning-style, so students succeed at learning and develop a positive self-esteem. I make learning exciting, motivating, align my lessons to the state standards, and offer challenging learning opportunities to students, so students are prepared for the ISAT Test and the next grade-level.
