Experience Summary
I graduated from The University of Bucharest with a Bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Education and I have been working in public schools, middle school and high school for four years. Before moving to California I used to work as a Romanian language instructor for Critical Language Center, VA and my responsibility consisted of teaching Romanian to adults. My teaching experience greatly improved while working as a special education teacher at Bates Middle School as well as a paraprofessional at George Mason High School. Although challenging, working with students with learning difficulties and Explosive personality disorder, ADD / ADHD, students with autism spectrum disorders and children with defiant anti-social behavior has been a stimulating and enriching experience. As part of an enrichment program at Bates Middle School I have been assigned to teach French to 8th grade students from the regular education during the school year 2009-2010. I have also taught French at “HYPE”, an after school program, as a part of the MH Newton Family Life Enrichment Center in Sumter, SC during the 2009-2010 school year.
