Experience Summary
I am currently working on a Master's degree, and recently received my TESOL certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). So if you have any issues with English as a second language, I can help with that, as well as any types of writing (I've worked as a writer and editor in several different fields). My B.A. degree is in English, with a minor in Communications. I worked as a tutor to put myself through college.
Teaching Style
I hope to make learning fun, not drudgery. I will do my best to make it interesting and something to look forward to!
My Hobbies
I am an avid traveler and have been in almost every state of the U.S. as well as many overseas destinations. Cross-cultural communication is very important to me. I love animals! All kinds, but especially dogs. So if you have some at your house, I'd love to meet them during our tutoring session, and may even include references to them in my tutoring to make it more fun and personal for children.
