Experience Summary
For four years I have worked as a Reading Specialist Assistant. I helped Kindergarten through fourth grade students learn to read. K-1st, I helped these students achieve the basic foundation of letter sounds to create new words. We also worked on fluency, expression and gaining reading speed. 2nd-4th, I helped these students comprehend the reading material and converse about various reading topics to engage their interest.
Teaching Style
I enjoy making learning fun and try to find different ways to teach the material so that it is enjoyable for children.
My Hobbies
Aside from spending lots of time outside, I enjoy finding new books to read and enjoy.
