Experience Summary
I am an appellate attorney barred in New York, and I also tutor law students attending school both in and out of New York in legal research and writing. Excellence in these disciplines requires organization, both in the manner of reading cases and abstracting ideas, and effective presentation in the final writing product. Often, personalized guidance through the process can make a huge difference, both in your course grade and going forward as a practicing attorney. Lessons are generally by Skype and/or email. I look forward to working with you!
Other Comments
I also tutor for the verbal sections of the SATs. Succeeding on the SAT verbal section requires maturity of reading style and a knowledge of basic rules of grammar. If you missed these lessons in school, or were never taught these in a step-by-step way, it is never too late to learn and improve. The SATs are not about tricks .. they are about skills. Give yourself a chance ... one on one tutoring is best. My students do improve!
