Experience Summary
Experience as a classroom teacher includes designing and implementing lesson plans for topics that included Chemistry: chemical formulas, nomenclature, electron dot configuration, valance electrons, oxidation reduction reactions, periodic table, oxidation numbers, radioactivity, chemical reactions, balanced equations, reaction rates and kinetics; Physical Science: SI international System of Units, scientific method, basic nature of matter, physical properties, chemical properties, contributions of Dalton, Thomson, Rutherford, and Bohr in understanding the atom, modern model of atomic structure; Life Science: cell structure organelles, similarities between plant and animal cells, development of cell theory, cell division, life function and processes; Biology: Observation of living organism, Germ Theory of infectious diseases, structural model of DNA, structure and function of macromolecules, nature of enzyme, exploring diversity and variation of eukaryotes, cell membrane model, human anatomy, body systems and life systems, Mendelian Laws of heredity, Genetic variation, exploration of the impact of DNA technologies, use and misuse of genetic information. Ability to teach math subjects comes from knowledge gained from chemical engineering in which I attained a BS degree.
