Experience Summary
I have been teaching elementary school for 14 years. I taught preschool for one year,first grade for 7 years, and was a K-8 Reading Intervention Specialist for 6 years. I have been tutoring students for 8 years. I have also worked with Special Education students during this time and students with learning disabilities. I was also a reading coach for teachers and DUBELS testing administrator for 6 years.
Teaching Style
I have use a hands-on approach to teaching reading which include games and technology. I will preform diagnostic assessments on each syudent and will include progress monitoring results to parents.
My Hobbies
I enjoy movies, camping, fishing, spending time with family, and reading.
