Experience Summary
Thanks to my education and independent study, I am skilled with C++, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL. Through thousands of hours of programming experience, I've become intimately familiar with these languages, and the process of learning them. My 5+ years of tutoring have helped me to develop effective teaching techniques, and to understand the thought process of a student.
Teaching Style
I follow a flexible lesson plan for each different language/technology, allowing for wiggle room dependent on the student's needs. I tutor non-local students online via screen-sharing software. Screen-sharing software allows the student and I to share a screen, as well as mouse/keyboard control during lessons.
