Experience Summary
Math teacher with science and English background and 13 years experience middle school, high school, and some college tutoring/teaching. I most recently taught pre-algebra and geometry and have taught algebra many times. I tutored through college at all levels. I like using simpler examples to introduce concepts and then help students build a strong understanding of harder skills.
Teaching Style
I have lots of middle school experience and can use hand's-on conceptual models or straight forward drill work to help students understand. I am committed to working through concepts until my students get it.
