Experience Summary
I have been in drama class for all four years of being in high school. I am now a current senior at Villa Rica High School. I have also been involved in show choir during my years of high school. I enjoy teaching kids at a close by recreation center. I have been in many of the shows at my high school including Frankenstein; Into the Woods; and Trojan Men & Women. It was an amazing experience. I have also helped many of the freshmen and middle schoolers to come out and have fun with it and to not be as shy with acting dancing and singing. I enjoy it very much and i love teaching so it would be a thrill to be able to have a job helping kids learn to act and have fun with it .
Teaching Style
The ways i have taught past students; i usually break up them into groups of three or four depending on how many are in the class. They get to choose a skit out of any story they want and they study it and practice it for a couple weeks, they make a blocking plot and learn how to really get into character. Then once they've really gotten their part they perform it in front of the class; usually with a lot of confidence and excitement !
My Hobbies
I love dancing and being in show choir ( which is like the Glee Club). I have been doing it for over five years now. I cant see myself not doing it i enjoy it so much and helping others to learn it will also be a very incredible experience.
