Autumn Cockrell-Abdullah, is a cultural Anthropologist, specializing in dance and music ethnology of the Middle East and is currently teaching Anthropology at Kennesaw State University.
Drawing from her own experiences in the field in Egypt, Lebanon and the U.A.E., Autumn offers a street-smart view of contemporary social issues within the region offering insights into these cultures and their social trends, including ....arts and entertainment. Ms. Cockrell- Abdullah travels regularly to the Middle East and has co-authored a book, "Belly: A Visual Appreciation". She currently resides inthe Atlanta metro region with her husband, artist-photographer, Meriwan Abdullah and their two cats.
