Experience Summary
As I developed a passion and strong sense toward teaching, I quickly realised that it could be a way of sharing my knowledge with people and get them to understand what their true potentials are.Over the past years, I have been active in tutoring and i have tutored in several fields such as Algebra,Triginometry, Geometry,French,Gre-mat and Act-math.In all these experiences, I had different approaches depending on students' abilities and education level; while tutoring French for example, I preferredtodeal with students in a manner that would allow them to understand first why their want to learn this particular language rather than others. After establishing the importance the importance of choosing to learn French, I would them set a particular calender that could be divided into four sections(understanding,readind,speaking,writing); andduring each section, I would try to built a strong partership between the lecturer and the students as to enable them to feel free in asking questions that would improve their understanding.
While tutoring mathematics, I found it better to engage with students on the problem solving approach. This approach helps in finding the key explanation and deep understanding to mathematics matters;it shows how students can draw concepts from problem solving, recognise patterns and be able to establish relationshils between different equations that will eventually lead to answers.
I have a bachelor in physics(university of louisville), 30 credit hours in math. I have a four year tutoring experience.
