Experience Summary
I have been drawing my entire life, and have successfully completed numerous high school- and college-level art courses pertaining to my major in Fine Arts. Throughout my studies, I have had extensive experience in life drawing, graphic design, animation, character and object design, and color theory. I am highly proficient in working with various types of media, including graphite, pen and ink, acrylic paint, colored pencil, and charcoal. I am a seasoned portrait artist with an affinity for capturing personal likeness, and have had the great privilege of tutoring several pupils in that area. I also have experience working with digital art, and am especially knowledgeable about Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Teaching Style
I take a very hands-on approach when instructing my pupils. I encourage them to practice the techniques they learn from me as I am teaching them, as opposed to having them sit through a lecture and complete assignments afterward. This enables them to learn at their own pace, and has been proven to successfully increase both their productivity and their desire to create.
My Hobbies
Drawing, playing guitar, and writing/recording music.
