To whom may concern
I have six years of experience in working with children of various ages (from infancy to the age of seventeen). I have all 15 units child development required to work with infants and preschoolers plus 24 units psychology units, beside my math and science education.
It was a great opportunity for me to work and gain experience in Bright Horizons (Northridge Hospital) and Tutor Time (Woodland Hills) as a preschool teacher. In addition to my normal responsibilities, I was responsible to help other rooms (including infants and toddler room). Another responsibility was to work with after-school students on their homework and assignments. I also attended and supported field trips in summer time.
It is meaningful to serve children, and it is a job that makes a difference in life of people. By caring for children now, we can construct a more empathetic society. Unconditional care and respect for a child's individuality are essentials in being a teacher. Through years of experience, I have learned to balance my approach in the styles of teaching. I learned that being gentle and firm to keep reasonable rules would help us to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow, physically and mentally.
Currently, I help students in math after school at Woodland Hills Mathnasium.
Pursuing education and science (biochemistry major) can help me to be a better teacher when it comes to helping children to construct emergent concepts.
I am always willing to learn more and work hard to become a better teacher. Please consider my resume below.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.
