Experience Summary
Linguist, historian,violinist, and polyglot. I speak English, Vietnamese,French, German, and Turkish. Out of these languages I feel I can teach English, German, and Turkish. I am currently learning Arabic and Portuguese. I have experience with language acquisition and would love to work with you on whatever your language learning block is, no matter the language you are learning. As a professional violinist, I have studied for over 10 years and perform regularly with different groups throughout the area. I am a student of the Concertmaster emeritus of the Memphis Symphony, who studied under the late Nathan Milstein. I will also gladly tutor in the areas of Music,Foreign Language, Language Arts, Social Studies, and the Humanities.
Teaching Style
Classical violin training, I believe, is more effective than Suzuki.
In language acquisition, I can work with a student to simulate immersion in a foreign language, or create building blocks towards thinking like a fluent/native speaker.
