Experience Summary
I graduated from Penn State University in the Fall of 2010, earning my B.S. in Science (Life Science Option). My degree very closely related to the typical Biology degree; however, mine afforded me the ability to specifically tailor my upper level courses to focus more heavily on Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, and medically related Biology courses. While in college I worked as a tutor for Penn State and I also earned my paramedic certification and have nearly three years experience working in the field as a paramedic, allowing me to bring real world (medical) applications to many of the basic sciences. I moved to Henderson, NV recently to begin medical school.
Teaching Style
I enjoy incorporating visual representations of the subject matter as well as using real world examples to solidify the information. As a college graduate and aspiring physician I am also fond of mnemonics as tools helpful tools to store information.
My Hobbies
Aviation, Mixed Martial Arts, Rock Climbing, Hiking
Other Comments
I'm also a 2nd Degree Black Belt and former Mixed Martial Arts and submission grappling competitor if anyone is interested in learning self defense.
