Experience Summary
My name is Nick Wright and I am a Psychology major who graduated with an overall GPA of 3.37 from California State University of Long Beach. My academic curriculum has provided me with a vast amount of experience/knowledge that I would love to share and pass on to others. I am specifically competent in course work relating to Psychology, Sociology, and Statistics. I am proficient in microsoft office and can help teach basic/organizational skills. My typing is on average 88 WPM and went through 5 years of training through Mavis Beacon Typing, I can assist students as a tutor for typing skills as well. I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA for my last 2 semesters and remained on the President's list/Dean's list for the past 4 semesters. My GPA for my last 60 units of coursework was a 3.78.
Teaching Style
Start off with a minimal non-invasive approach to assess what works for the student and what doesn't work. If student's methods of learning are not working, then I step in and introduce different strategies to overcome whatever challenges are that the student may b e facing.
