Experience Summary
Annette Clifford is an award-winning journalist with nine years of experience as an editorial writer for Florida Today in Melbourne, Fla., covering topics that include education, health care and justice system reform. Since 2009, she has won three first place awards for editorial writing from the Florida Society of News Editors, along with other honors. Clifford played a key role in the development and execution of social and political blogs for Florida Today and is very experienced in the use of social media. She has also been nationally syndicated, her parenting column appearing in some 100 newspapers through Gannett News Service. Her column won first place in the Green Eyeshade Awards from the Society of Professional Journalists in 2009. Clifford holds a Master of English degree from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg.
