Experience Summary
After finishing Graduate School, I immediately began working as a 7th Grade Summer School English Teacher. Along with a one month Long-Term Substitute position teaching 9th and 11th grade English and Advanced English, I was prepared to take on a full-time role. Now as a full-time English Language Arts Support Study Teacher, I work closely with small groups of students to help improve their ELA skills and their general study skills to help improve their overall educational performance.
Teaching Style
I believe that each student has a unique learning style and therefore, teachers must develop a unique approach to each an every student. By providing a comfortable learning environment, students feel more open to share and learn. Trust and respect between teacher and student is essential for the best learning to take place. With a student-centered approach, each individual can gain the most from their time in school.
