Experience Summary
I have had four years of experience in high school as an English tutor for lower classmen, mostly regarding composition, grammar, and reading comprehension. I have no certification or degree, but am working on my Associate's Degree in English before transferring to University to complete a Bachelor's and then a Master's Degree to teach high school level English. I know I am young, but I am serious about my work.
Teaching Style
I am a laidback teacher, but I also have high expectations. I expect any student to have a will to learn and to improve. I'm not a hard tutor, I give credit where credit is due and I find nothing more gratifying than seeing my students learn on their own. I love teaching more than anything, it's what I'm good at.
Other Comments
I love teaching more than anything in the world. Perhaps that's because I am young and I've never been in a classroom setting before. I first started loving teaching when I would learn new things at school and try to help others who couldn't understand, and that passion only furthered in highschool when I would tutor at home, seeing the light on the student's face when they understand a new concept. There's not much like it.
