Experience Summary
I began tutoring in high school, as a sophomore. I started tutoring freshmen, and continued throughout my high school career. I would also often lead study groups with friends. In college, I was never an official tutor. However, I would lead study groups with friends. I have a strong background in sociology, which was my undergraduate major. I minored in psychology as well. I am currently getting my masters' degrees in both community mental health counseling, and in school counseling, which has significantly added to my previous knowledge of the field of psychology. I have had a practicum and an internship experience as a school counselor, which required teaching lessons, so I do have some teaching background. I was also employed with the Winona Workforce Center, in Winona MN, as a school outreach worker. I went to five different high school, teaching students about careers and job skills.
