Experience Summary
I have been a math resource tutor at my high school for the past year. I really enjoying helping people using my strengths in the math and sciences. I have also experienced tutoring first hand. I was tutored in AP BC Calculus and AP Physics, so I know from experience what works and what doesn't. I may not be a teacher but as a means of cost effective tutoring, I can help you out wherever you need it.
Teaching Style
I am direct without being overpowering. I have learned how to help the student come to the right answer compared to explaining why the answer is what it is. Talking them through the thought process of the problem is the first step to solving the problem on their own.
My Hobbies
I play softball and gymnastics. Currently I am working at Dairy Queen, and I am a volunteer belay at the YMCA rock wall.
Other Comments
I am a very dedicated and determined person. I will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Setting goals and finding ways to reach those goals is very important to me. I can be flexible; I am just here to help.
