Experience Summary
Hi,
I am a college senior looking to work part-time as a freelance tutor - something that I have been really good at for years.
While I was in high school, I performed exceptionally well on the state exams and received an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors. I also got a perfect on the Math SAT section and am currently studying to be an engineer.
I am best at math, science, and programming subjects. I have been a private tutor for about 4 years now and helped many people pass their exams with scores they never thought possible. I focus on teaching people in the most simple and clear manner so that information is easy to understand, starting from the basics, and building everything up from there. As difficult as school may make certain subjects, the concepts are actually not that bad. Anyone can fully understand the subject if taught in the right manner. If you don't believe me, send me a reply and first tutoring session is on me!
This is best for people who are not performing well and maybe on the verge of failing, people who have tried to understand and do the work, but can't get the scores they want. Personally, these are the kinds of people I like tutoring most, because they have a real use for a tutor.
Teaching Style
Breaking everything down to the most basic level and building up in a way that makes understanding hard concepts easy!
Other Comments
I ask that tutoring sessions take place in public places such as library, cafe, etc. I've had many great tutoring sessions at libraries, Barnes & Nobles, and even McDonald's!
