Experience Summary
Ph.D. in English/Writing, M.A. English, B.A. Anthropology. I have taught at various universities and colleges for over 20 years. Currently, I teach Writing at CU Boulder. In addition, I am an Emmy winning songwriter, a children's author with Random House, a fiction and non-fiction writer, poet, and well-published cartoonist. I have a number of books to my credit. Videos of my songs from PBS have had over 30 million hits on YouTube. I am also a top-notch guitar player, specializing in gypsy jazz and bluegrass flat-picking.
