I have tutored many in accounting at Ohio State and Franklin University. I try to make the student understand the underlying accounting principles that are involved in their problems. To train them in ways to cross check and verify their answers. I try to get the student to verbalize what they have learned. I firmly believe that if they can explain it logically to me,they understand.If not, more work is necessary. In addition, the ability to communicate is critical in the accounting field. I train them to enter the world of public accounting or business with confidence and teach them what to expect. Accounting is the language of business but they must learn how to speak it.

| I worked in business for forty years as a partner in a regional C.P.A firm, a vice president of a real estate company, and the owner of my own real estate interests. I was also a consultant to troubled companies and also to banks that had high-risk loans.
