Experience Summary
I am from Mexico, so most of my experience in these three areas of knowledge.
In my chess experience, I've been involved in this awesome game since I was 13. I've participated in many tournaments in my Hometown Matamoros. I represented several times my high school, my hometown, and once my state in a national tournament. I taught children how to play chess in my neighborhood as hobbies because all of my older brothers play chess, so I played with them during more than 3 years and many children got interested. When I remember, the children asked me to play with them and asked me for advises on their new tactics.
In my computer experience, I spent 3 years of my life working in a renting computers. I know how to work with computers with Windows XP and Vista. I used to work formatting professional papers, installing programs and fixing desktop computers. In November 2010, while I was studying English I got enrolled in a volunteering program where I helped elderly people to use internet, basic skills with Excel, Power point and Word, and basics on how to use computer.
In my Spanish language experience, I am a native Spanish speaker, I spent the first 18 years of my life in Mexico having all my studies there. I worked with speeches, presentations and promotions, all in Spanish. I could help to practice, give some points of view and some advises to do it better. Since I started College in MNSU, I have taken two Spanish classes; Spanish 210W writing intensive and Span 365 Literature and intensive readings.
Teaching Style
There are several ways to learn. My favorite and the one I work best is to observe. Mostly I understand the things when I see them working. When I teach, I always do an explanation first and then I put it on practice so the student can fully use this new skill.
