About Me

Experience Summary

I graduated from Ronald Reagan High School with a 4.6 GPA in the second graduating class ('08), then went on the NC State University to study Engineering, where I jumped in between various Engineering programs for three years before simply deciding to take a break and truly figure out what I want to study. While this may deter several people from choosing me, I know that if you met me and/or any of my teachers from any grade level, they/I could certainly set the record straight, as I am quite a smart person, I have simply struggled with getting my life into an appropriate schedule. This is because between high school, my extra curriculars (captain of the drumline for three years and a captain of the lacrosse team for three years), and my parents, my life was completely structured for me, so what little free time I had was easy to budget, this is not the case in high school. I am a very math and science oriented person (completing AP Calculus (A) and AP Chemistry (B) my Junior year in high school and AP Statistics (B) and AP Physics (B) my senior year. Furthermore, I completed every level of Calculus at NC State with at least a C, as well as Quantitative Chemistry, both levels of Physics, Logic, and the basic English courses, in addition to the basic specific engineering, computer, PE and Accounting classes as I advanced from general classes to specific field courses (which was almost immediately because I entered college with 27 credit hours completed).

My Hobbies

Most of my free time is spent with my dogs, my instruments, or my xbox. I enjoy playing a wide variety of video games as well as a wide variety of music. I love all kinds of mind challenging games and activities, and rarely fall short of completing things to their fullest extent.

Subject Commentary

Algebra II This is one of my top subjects! Proficiency: Expert
Algebra, at this point, is an absolute breeze for me. I have never received less than an A in every Algebra class I have taken, and I am quite capable of breaking down equations, theorems, and problems to their most basic form (I'll be able to show you how to decide what to manipulate in each problem, how to manipulate it, and the follow through) (more simply I'll be able to illustrate all the "how's," the "why's," and the "where's").
Math This is one of my top subjects! Proficiency: Expert
Math in general is most certainly my strongest subject, as I completed through AP Calculus in High School with no less than a B in every class (and that was only Geometry and Statistics, because of the more studious and less logical aspects of them). Overall, any math subject, I am the guy to call (trust me all of my friends do) and I will be able to teach it to you. I can thoroughly break problems down and illustrate various check lists to make sure you're on the right path.
Physics Proficiency: Experienced
I am quite knowledgeable of the basics (manipulation of position, velocity, acceleration equations, vectors, etc. and pretty much all of the topics covered up to PY 208); however, I must admit that I am a bit more hesitant on materials pertaining to Magnetism and Electricity.
