Teaching Style
I prefer a relaxed, casual teaching style where I emphasis the clients strengths and skills and work off their personality and interest to get them invested in their desire to learn. I do not believe in the 'tutorial' method. Tutorials teach but do not ingrain the learning experience because they do not create an individualized need to retain the process. I help the learner create a individualized project and discover how to achieve the goal of realizing the final creative piece. This helps the learner become invested in the learning process, and helps them retain what they have learned by creating a personalized importance on their acquired knowledge.
In essence I work hard at making sure no one feels 'dumb' for not knowing what they want to learn.
