While I have not received a degree in any of the fields that I am experienced enough to tutor in, I have been working in the Audio Visual industry for over 12 years and have learned a great many things that are essential to successful use of any of these tools.Whether you live near me in North Carolina or in Hawaii and need my assistance, please feel free to drop me a line and lets see what I can do to help you.

My teaching style is usually hands on however where possible, I also have the ability to tutor remotely, greatly increasing the opportunity for distance learning.

| CAD or Computer Assisted Drafting includes 2D and 3D drawings that are used to describe either what something looks like or how it functions by itself or along with other items it will be integrated with. As with most of the subjects listed here, CAD is a means of making work more efficient and of presenting a more professional appearance as opposed to a hand sketch. Sketchup and AutoCAD are two examples of the many CAD softwares available today. |

| This area includes Softwares such as MS Word and Publisher. Everything from creating a letterhead to writing a newsletter. |

 This is one of my top subjects!

| I have been drawing with various types of pencil since about the ninth grade. I can't exactly explain why but drawing seemed to come to me as naturally as breathing. As with Sketchup, I have learned several methods for drawing over many years that most will find very beneficial to drawing an accurate likeness, especially with regard to portraiture of people and pets. |

| This is basically all about how to lay out commercial type of art for such things as logos. It goes hand in hand with the other categories mentioned here. |

| Excel is a really useful tool for crunching numbers and once you get the idea of how the formulas work, it's an invaluable one |

| Microsoft Office is an business industry standard collection of software titles that it is a very good idea to be familiar with. If you will be working in the business world, you need to know Office. One thing that will be especially useful if you're job hunting is how to write a resume. I have quite a bit of experience with helping people with writing or updating their resumes. |

| My adventures in Google Sketchup began as curiosity and after discovering the powerful features and ease of use, it became a passion. I selected expert for my proficiency level but I believe that there is just so much to learn that if I myself am not learning "something" new every single day, I'm just not trying hard enough. That's the beauty of Sketchup, easy to use but incredibly powerful features in a free, stable software...absolutely AMAZING! |
