For years I have worked with elementary age children. With all of my students we improve their reading comprehension skills to better prepare them for their TAKS/STARR tests, as well as their abilities to better understand the meaning of the words in the passages they are required to read. In addition to comprehension skills all of my students improve their reading fluency and test taking skill during each session.
