Experience Summary
I spent the last several years preparing to become a teacher and have enjoyed every bit of it. I have spent time in the classroom, varying from 4th grade and up not only in math classes, which I will be teaching, but others as well. Although it was not necessary to get a Minor in Education to become a teacher, I decided that it would be in my best interest to gain as much knowledge on different teaching styles and approaches to developing my own classroom environment. All students have the ability to learn it just comes down to understanding the best way to help a student achieve at the highest level possible.

I like to help students discover the solutions and answers on their own. I am here to help guide them in the right direction not to provide the answer.

| Math is a language all of its own.... It comes down to relating the topic with something the student knows and understands. What makes math fun for me is "MATH IS WHAT IT IS" meaning there are no misguided rules during the Elemetary math years. |

| Was not a huge fan of my Finance courses, but always excelled in them because of the math relationship.. Unfortunately I have never gotten to put my finance course study to work in the real world except for several loans I have taken out.... I knew it would pay off somewhere in life!! |
