Experience Summary

I am a third-year undergraduate student at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA. My home residence is in Alpharetta, GA so I am willing to tutor in or around these areas and metro Atlanta. My undergraduate major is French, a language I have been studying in school for over twelve years. Foreign language has always been my favorite subject so two years ago I started taking Italian classes at my university. In summer 2011 I spent three months living and studying the Italian language in Italy. I have achieved level C1 in Italian of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and after twelve years as a French student I can assure that I can communicate and teach effectively in both Italian and French. At Georgia College I volunteer at the university's language lab six hours a week, tutoring my fellow students in these languages.

Always an admirer of the Italian language and culture (and of Italian descent myself), I starting picking up the language two years ago and have since achieved level C1 (the fifth out of six levels of European language mastery) after living and studying in Italy for three months!
