Experience Summary
I've done some tutoring both officially and unofficially during the years, editing and proofreading friends' papers (for many of whom English was not a first language), as well as tutoring Russian. My educational experience, however, is vast. I completed the IB program in high school (with SL French, Math Studies and Biology and HL English, History and Psychology), majored in Psychology, History and Russian Studies at CU, and obtained a double Master's in Russian, Central and East European Studies at the University of Glasgow and European Studies at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. These degrees emphasized Political Science, History and Sociology. I've studied French, Russian, Polish and German.
Teaching Style
I try to bring information, facts and ideas into a unified whole, so that rather than being a matter of simple memorization, subjects can be internalized, understood and learned. This makes the subjects easier and more accessible both in the short and long run. Tutoring writing, I focus on format and content, turning the agonizing activity of writing a paper into an easy and quick one.
