Experience Summary
I work with a Marketing/PR/Video agency (Purple Duck Marketing)with offices in Seattle and Atlanta. My expertise is in helping businesses and nonprofits create integrated marketing plans and campaigns to effectively increase awareness and revenue. I also teach classes for nonprofits at the Foundation Center (Atlanta) as well as independently. With more than 20 years experience, my greatest passion is sharing with individuals the tools and knowledge they need to be successful in these fields.
Teaching Style
I believe that a good teacher has a great deal of "real life" experience in the field they are teaching and can bring to the student "real life" case studies to show the right and wrong way to do things. I find having a lecture/presentation and then open discussion is most beneficial to my students. Many of my students keep coming back to various classes I teach because they trust me and feel comfortable enough to ask questions that are relevant to their individual interests and needs.
