Experience Summary
I have worked as a teacher of science, geography, biology, math and Russian language within various cultural settings around the world. My personal drive is always to seek knowledge and personal experience, which I have happily shared with my students.
I hold an advanced degree in Public Administration, which allows me to expand my general knowledge in Geography by emphasizing governmental structures, internal and external policies in a global spectrum. I have lived and worked in various societies with the range of governance from fully centralized to democratic. This personal experience enables me to not only develop an interest toward the world geography among students, but also develop understanding of various governmental institutions around the globe.
Teaching Style
I believe that education is the key to success for young students. As a teacher, I hope to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strength and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to trust their own opinions, while fostering confidence in order for students to realize their own full potential.
Through my teaching experience thus far, I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. I have learned that if students construct their own learning experiences they will not only retain information longer, but they will also become more confident in their abilities. Being developed to this assertion confirms that I have made the right career choice for myself. I love work with children and I will continue to be a positive influence in their lives.

Translation of poetry, writing, mountain climbing, yoga, africal dance and drumming.
