Experience Summary
As a recent graduate of University of California – San Diego with a B.A. in Joint Major Mathematics and Economics, I strive to become a person who can understand the workings of finances and economics. In addition, I completed my Accounting certificate at UCSD Extension program. I have extensive knowledge in mathematics. During college, I volunteered to tutor high school students. In addition, I worked at a tutoring place for several months. I tutored in history, English, and mathematics from 1st to 8th grade. Also, I tutored piano in high school and passed the Advanced Level.
Teaching Style
I have always enjoyed teaching children. I feel happy when a child is able to learn something new and apply it. My desire as a tutor is to help children be successful in school. I am a responsible, hard working, and considerate person. I believe that helping the children to understand a new subject is significant. It is important to see gradual improvement in the children's education. That means that the children are benefiting and are willing to strive to obtain academic success.
