Experience Summary
I received my B.S degree The Pennsylvania State University and my Masters Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. I have always known that I wanted to become a teacher. I believe educating our future, our children, is one of the most important jobs anyone could have. I love being in the classroom and interacting with the children.
After graduation I taught Pre-K after graduation and soon realized I wanted to go back to school for my masters in education. I am substitute teacher which has been a great learning experience for me. I also have worked at a Sylvan Learning Center and as a TSS with children with special needs.
Teaching Style
My beliefs about teaching are to educate and challenge students to become skillful communicators, independent thinkers, and life-long learners. I believe every child has a different learning style. Learning should occur in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment. I will be accepting of my all my students as individuals and encourage them to do the same with their peers. It is my belief that children are at various levels of intellectual, emotional, social and physical development. Therefore, I will be oriented toward the unique students’ needs and interests and I will provide a flexible educational program.
