Experience Summary
Besides having eleven years of teaching experience in the classroom, I have seven years of one-on-one tutoring experience with students in grades K-12. I created and managed an alternative program for a school district and developed all the curriculum for grades K-12. High school students were taught skills to prepare them to take the GED. My specialties include math and language arts courses.
Teaching Style
My passion is teaching. I love it when a student's lightbulb goes off and everything fits in place. That moment of discovery excites me as much as it does the student. Consistant praise produces positive results. My goal in life is to instill in my students the desire to become lifetime learners.
