Experience Summary
As a graduate of Marquette University with a degree in biology, I have had an extensive amount of education. I have mentored and turored high school students through Upward Bound at Marquette, I was a teen coach teaching leadership skills through Urban Underground and have tutored personally biology, math, and reading subjects along with study skills. I love working with children I find it important that children enjoy learning.
Teaching Style
It is very important that children enjoy learning at an early age. I like to give children the opportunity to be hands on and use as many learning supplies as possible from note cards to games. Learning comes with time so it is important to be patient and let the child understand they are important along with motivating them. Each child is different so it is important that you go with what works for that child.
